I'd like to think when Wrathion returned back to Pandaria he made a trip to the Tavern of the Mists and had a long talk with Tong and even apologized. Greatest crime about 8.2.5 and 8.3 is we didn't get to see Wrathion become a better dragon.

I agree! If he hasn't already, I hope he'll make it all up to Tong. I really love that idea to be honest. I wish we had seen his return to Pandaria and other adventures rather than just trailing him, yeah

Had 8.3 had more content, story and time to flesh out everything. I would've loved a proper return to Uldum, Pandaria, and Ulduar. And of course further focus on Wrathion and N'zoth as the primary characters of the patch.

8.3 at the bare minimum, should have had more content in Uldum/Vale, like a fully chaptered campaign.

It really should have. I'm not against returning to old world content and updating it. But man did BfA do this a lot where there was hardly ever any story to those returns. Really could've had a goldmine of a "Return to Pandaria" patch if done right.

I would have loved to go back to Pandaria and dive deep into Wrathion as a character. Maybe even revisit some iconic sites for him like Isle of Thunder and Timeless Isle. Twist the story into him becoming his own dragon, not his father, while haunted by visions from N’zoth.

I like that Wrathion has become his father, but it's the side of his father that was good and uncorrupted. Way too many people forget Neltharion was good once. That's what I like about Wrathion is he reminds others that Black Dragons were meant to protect not harm.

Hmm, I’ve never thought of like that, so thank you for adding that perspective! I’d have loved for Wrathion to actually add this fold to Anduins story to. Both of them are trapped in the shadows of their fathers, what will they do to become their own beings?

I don't think there is really anything wrong with taking the good aspects of our parents and exemplifying them. I'd say they're doing a good enough job as is in being their own persons while also carrying on that "torch" of their forebears.
