I don’t think he’s in the Shadowlands, I think he preserved his own soul through that urn he was carrying when we were questing with him in Tal’Farrak.
I don't think so. Prophet Zul truly thought he was going to win given the "truths" G'huun was providing him.

Idk, just seems kinda sus to me that we use this soul-catching urn to ensare a bunch of guys, including Zul’s own apprentice, and then said device is just never mentioned again in the story.

Heck, he even states as a lesson at the end of the questline to “prepare for the future, even for ones one has not forseen”.
