Heres a question. Since the the lich king no longer has a grasp of darion and the others, what would happen if draion where to pick it the ashbringer once more, would it go back to being corrupted?
Darion Mograine wasn't under the control of the Lich King back during that event either as he broke free along with all the other knights. I think the effect would be the same.

No but as the short story, told Bolvar still held the power to force him, without him wanting but that power was shattered when the helm broke, and also "freed" bolvar form the burden
