The backwards logic of, "I'm not a racist I just care about the lore!" even people who care about lore to an unhealthy degree look at this and go, "It's perfectly fine." The fact that a chunk of this community feels this way is telling why you really don't like it.

I get hung up on Vol'jin's death not Elves having Black Skin. That's just specific and quite honestly stupid. I hate the fact this keeps getting brought up in the first place but we gotta shut these people down as always.

I always like to think of dark skinned elves as a testaments on how elf appearances are based on the environment they adapt to. Nightborne are of arcane magic, night elves of moonlight, high elves of sun light, and dark elves as their skin resembling the bark of the forest trees
