The backwards logic of, "I'm not a racist I just care about the lore!" even people who care about lore to an unhealthy degree look at this and go, "It's perfectly fine." The fact that a chunk of this community feels this way is telling why you really don't like it.
I get hung up on Vol'jin's death not Elves having Black Skin. That's just specific and quite honestly stupid. I hate the fact this keeps getting brought up in the first place but we gotta shut these people down as always.

Considering elves are evolved trolls: how is it skin colour that's the stretch to believe? 
Also in lore skin colour change happened repeatedly: nightelf/voidelf/nightborne/highborne all started as the same colour but changed depending on diet or magic they were exposed too
That genuinly makes me curious what caused the darker skin color. NOT as a way to discredit it, but as a lore nerd.

elves have more then enough options void elves - blood elves (model share) night elves - nightborne (model share) 4 playable elves with many options in game should be enough i think nothing against dark skin buuut every of the elves got theyre own skin it seems
