using magic as a bad thing. The characters don't use any spells until the very end and it's always bad. Thrall only uses the elements at the end, and the next time we see him he says he can't use the elements since the battle. (cont)

It was always the case till Azeroth, where things started to blur. Pre-Azeroth the rules were the same all over, Thrall cheated knowingly understanding that he would lose. He "forced" Draenor elements to do what he wanted instead of asked. I feel that's why he lost connection
That's not the case at all. He didn't force them to do anything in fact the elements were already infuriated with Garrosh both on Azeroth and Draenor.pic.twitter.com/kJOXSUMw6a

you quoted the wiki? in the game himself he states he doesn't understand Draenor elements and can't harness them. It happens throughout the entire expansion, up until that fight where he changes his cadence to mirror those of Garrosh's dark shaman from SoO raid.

It is never stated that he lost his power over the elements because he resorted to Dark Shamanism. And he most certainly wouldn't do that either. He lost his shamanism because of his mental state that's all.
