I still need to read the War of the Ancients trilogy but everytime I try, the whole time-travelling orc and human plot really puts me off. Don't know why it couldn't just be...a straightforward retelling
I've never read it but I always enjoyed the aspect of Broxigar being included in the story and the reactions the Night Elf society as a whole to him. Plus it resulted in him facing off against Sargeras and actually leaving a small mark on him.

Have you ever bumped into the little Broxigar easter egg in Krokuun? In a little cave, you can actually find Brox's boot kept by the surviving Krokul tribe as a relic.

I have and it bothers me to this day we didn't have an Orc (specifically Varok Saurfang) interact with it while on our time on Argus. It's forever upsetting to me on the lack of Horde characters and their involvement in the finale to the Legion.
