I don't think magic has anything to do with it. They're just really tall and really muscular humans. Which really isn't too much of a stretch for them to be considering they did descend from the Vrykul.
I mean technically all humans decended from Vrykul there is a big difference in a very minor group of Kul'tirans having a possible mix from the very few remaining Drust vs the entire race the models represent.
The bloodline from vykrul to kul tirans now would be too far for them to have kept those heights?? blizz just made their models a bit taller to be distinguishable, they're not actually that tall. they're just sea humans
They never gave a lore reason for the height but the most sensible one would be to have them be the ones who got dirty with the Drust who became apart of their society back in the heyday.
