WoW is the only game where people clutch pearls and whine about the idea of more customization.

I remember when Shadowlands was announced (albeit it wasn't in the teaser trailer) that we were getting more customizations. And it became one of the core reasons I was excited for the expansion. And it still is.
This goes in line with BfA too. When Allied Races were announced it was one of the features I was most excited for. And I still have hopes that they aren't done with those either. Customization brings life and variety to the game especially as it gets older and older.

Customisations are fun and all, but that won't change much. The devs managed to sell the same daily quest based game on the market. There is nothing new, and it even has more bugs then never before. For Rp-ers it's gold, but in general the game just became a "Raid Streamers" only

What is this for a shit take? The main complaint about Retail WoW is, it grew to far away from what classic was. The success of Classic showed, people liked the old desgin. Every attempt of modify and to change this old rule got hammered down with complaints
