I think it's another one of those "I liked King Rastakhan and hate that he died and want vengeance on his killers" for some reason Jaina is blamed as Rastakhan's main killer when it would make more sense for it to be Genn.
Fun fact, that fight is different depending on if you're horde or alliance. Alliance has the correct pov since you're there in person, horde has the story being told from some random soldiers pov. When you do it as alliance Genn asks rasta to surrender and seems like he doesn't-
