Spoilers for the recent Cinematic: - - - - - - - - - What I like about this cinematic is that it shows us that Sylvanas is being convinced by Anduin that the route she is going is not the right one. And it's not Sylvanas already realizing this and playing some kind of big brain.
I think redemption is way too strong of a word for Sylvanas. It feels more along the lines of a good deed or rather it's building to that one good deed. I don't think her eventual backstabbing of the Jailer is enough to redeem what she's done the past decade.
