Yes, the Jailer is insane, not sure who disputed that but wasn't me. Also I'm pretty sure that's not his plan in the slightest (don't see why Sylvanas would go along with that and her whole freedom speech doesn't make sense then). I'm just saying where the story is headed.

She literally says their plan is to, "tear it ALL down" in regards to the process of life and death. Flatout says they're going to 'break the system and remake it." What do YOU think that actually means? Because thusfar she's already commited genocide in pursuit of this goal.

I think it means taking down the Eternal Ones. And I think there's a chance we might decide that's not a bad idea down the line. Not sure where unmaking the UNIVERSE fits into this, at worst they'll unmake the Shadowlands.

She never once says they want to kill the Eternal Ones, they aren't even the target in 9.0. She literally is talking about the process of life & death with Anduin when she says she wants to tear it all down. "At worst they'll unmake the Shadowlands." Good I'm sure that's fine.

Well actually, the writers decided they had to add some relevance for us so the Jailer is going after the soul of Azeroth... because of course he is. In any case I just don't think/am praying the story isn't once more for the 12938213th time "stop bad guy doing bad things".

That's definitely what is going to happen. We're here to stop the Jailer from ruining the way things work. While the Shadowlands might be flawed what the Jailer/Sylvanas wants is far worse. Already it's very very bad and you can see that just by visiting the Maw.

People constantly point to Bastion as to why the Shadowlands are 'flawed' (In some cases it's not, I like that we just all ignore the characters who say 'yes removing my awful memories was a good idea, thanks') yet its a single outcome out of an endless amount.

Obviously all the other places are flawed as well, Maldraxxus fell to infighting immediately when the Primus was gone, Ardenweald and all the other realms went to hell as soon as they lost their infinite energy source. These are not competent people running the show.

Yeah again almost like the fact that one of their own joined up with The Jailer and actively screwed them all over is why their realms fell, not because they're randomly bad leaders.

Primus tried to warn everyone about the Jailer's return or investigated it himself and went missing. He left warnings behind just in case. Winter Queen sacrifices portions of her power to save others while the Drust run amock in her lands during the droute.

The Archon realizes that the way Bastion has been running isn't perfect and is looking into ways in fixing it or making it work for everyone. The Leaders of the Shadowlands are flawed, yes. But so are many other characters we love and there is nothing evil about that.
