Imagine if the villain in Ardenweald was also a returning threat like Kel'thuzad is in Maldraxxus (And how Uther facilitates the villains in Bastion) in order to keep the theme consistent. Unlike the boring ass Drust, it should have been Xavius.
I wouldn't honestly be opposed to either Xavius or an Almgamation of sorts created by Yogg-Saron. Like an "Avatar of Yogg-saron" that he put into Ardenweald after delving into the dream. Yoggy was always my favorite Old God and just had a lot going on for him.

On another side that actually easily could've had Mueh'zala be the main antagonist of the zone considering how important he was/is.
-
Yup they could have but then he became a forgettable dungeon boss who was irrelevant outside one third of the night fae campaign that 3/4ths of the players won't see >.>

Yogg Saron is also the one credited with discovering the Emerald Dream and opening the way for N'zoth and the others to infect it with the Nightmare, plus Yogg has probably the most nostalgia out of all the Old Gods. Would have been great to have him here.

I'm still hoping we'll see him somewhere in the Shadowlands considering it was aluded that he had a connection to the Lich King in Wrath. Be cool to see that Yogg-Saron and the Jailer might've had some beef or an alliance of some kind.
