You know what I am curious of? We see Uther being in Bastion, which makes a lot of sense, since he was a devote Paladin in his life. However: Where is Tirion Fordring? We know his soul was a light which went from his body, so... where is he? AND WHERE IS VARIAN?!
I don't think Tirion or Varian are in Bastion. It's made pretty evident that if you draw your strength or have a high devotion to your family or loved ones that Bastion can't have you there given they erase that. Tirion really loved his family and his son after all.

Varian fits all the boxes for Maldraxxus I think. Tirion I frankly have no idea. I think they both didn't went to the SL tho. Probably they went to whatever place demons go when they die bc their souls were infused by fel. Broxigar too. And we know we will go there one day.

I don't think that is how that works. Yes they die by the Legion and their magics but plenty of other worlds and races were killed like that too and still ended up in the Shadowlands. So I don't think Varian and Tirion aren't in the Shadowlands they're definitely there.

I haven't been, but according to what I heard from Taliesin on his stream, a soul can go to Bastion and just hang out. You only have to give up your memories if you become ascended. And even then the memories are stored in the library. (but like I said, this is second hand info)
