Krexus dying off screen is still perhaps one of the worst storyline decisions of the 9.0 experience and I have no idea why the hell they bothered making him seem like such an important character when ultimately he just never mattered, ever.

The Primus will definitely overshadow the Margrave(s) but it would be cool to see him in action as a leader of his Covenant. We're bound to see new Margraves get created or anointed by the Primus at some point.
I'm going to guess though the main reason they disposed Krexus right away was to give Draka a chance to lead Maldraxxus instead of him. Which they could've done that and still give Krexus a proper story. That's what bothers me.

It could have been super interesting had they developed Krexus and Draka became a Margrave basically unofficially after he died, and once he's resurrected he becomes HER Baron or something. But once again Krexus doesn't really have a character.

I really wanted him to have a character which is the problem. Like this guy just radiated with potential. I loved his design. I loved his voice. I loved his code of honor. Everything about him made me want to join Maldraxxus and then he dies right at the end.
