I will say that I think the secondary questchains in Shadowlands are a thousand thousand times better than the godawful ones from Battle for Azeroth. Even the ones in SL that aren't super interesting beat out anything say, for example, was in Vol'dun.

The story about the Kyrian champion who stopped the void in Bastion or the Broker who wanted to steal Maldraxxi war tactics and you have to invade a ziggurat where a bunch of wacky effects are going on are two I can think of off the top of my head.
Ahh those ones. Yeah, I just didn't remember those sadly. Granted I usually only remember them when they're brought up in this context. I think the Shadowlands ones did a better job at least in regards to world-building. Though I did like the Bwonsamdi and the daughter quest.

I've done literally all the BfA ones and I cannot remember that questline lol. Which I think goes to my point.

I've only ever done the Shadowlands one once and I just can't remember much from the side-quests or main quests. Did BfA's maybe 1-3 times at most. I usually don't remember the extra quests.
