I'm definitely not saying I'm gonna kill Ben post Shadowlands... ... but it'd be thematically appropriate after the storylines resolved in it.

I think the big reason why I don't want to kill Ban'orak off in Shadowlands is I want to explore storylines with him still. I'm always asked, "You're still roleplaying Ban ten years later?" and I go "Yeah I still enjoy him! He's still fun!"
The rule of thumb is as long as I am having fun with Ban I will keep trucking along with him. The moment he gets stale or I feel it is time to I wrap up his story I'll do so.
