Honestly the most fun I had in BFA was the first few months with leveling and hearing parts of the story, then the last few months where my husband and I tag teamed in gold making to get me the bruto for my birthday. Everything else was pretty forgettable.
Fair enough Mask! As I made friends over the course of BfA I understood their reasoning as to why they hated the expansion or disliked the expansion as a whole it usually was tied to gameplay. And because I hardly touched the gameplay as much it wasn't as detrimental. --
I mostly just focused on the story and I enjoyed it because it was back to the roots of Alliance and Horde which was lacking in Legion (for obvious reasons, of course). The core reasons I liked it so much were Saurfang, Jaina, and Talanji's arcs as well as a few other parts.
What made me fall off of it the most was definitely 8.3 which I was extremely disappointed by entirely. But before that, I was extremely happy and satisfied with the story. The gameplay not so much, but again I really wasn't focusing on that at the time too much.
