I don't know what it is about Shadowlands but I am just not as excited as I was during BfA. Probably blasphemous I know, but I'm just not jiving it as well. I'm sure my tune will change as the expansion progresses but I haven't been this unenthused by an expansion since WoD.pic.twitter.com/xQjHvDvmBG

Gameplay wise its miles better than BFA but story wise BFA/Legion had a better hook on me. THAT BEING SAID this one can wind up somewhere really good I think. Denathrius as a villain was fantastic for the first tier

Gameplay-wise definitely it's better but as I've always said that's never going to change my opinion half the time. I think Shadowlands will definitely grow on me as time passes but currently, it's just in a very weird spot. I think it's a problem when I am already missing BfA.

Honestly Totally respect your opinion dude especially with how much criticism BFA gets (rightfully on gameplay) from the community.

It is odd that an expansion everyone hates (BfA) I ended up loving. While an expansion everyone seemingly loves (SL) I end up not loving as much. Guess I'm just weird.

SL Characters have that WOD feel where it feels like they are going to be gone after this expansion which can not feel the greatest at times. Where SL shines in my opinion is the potential for living/dead characters we know to interact (Seeing Vashj was so cool!)

That's where SL works the best quite honestly. I'd rather they focus on the dead characters than the Faeries or the Kyrians. Doesn't help when most of the new SL characters are feel the same.

I think thats one of the reasons I went with Maldraxxus as a covenant. When questing there was a lot of friendly and not so friendly faces we recognized which made me more invested in where that specific story was going.

Same. Maldraxxus has way more familiar faces than the other zones do. Bastion has the least. Ardenweald has a few and honestly some really good ones. Revendreth has some but some are currently missing.

I think one thing Revendreth needed in its leveling was a crumb of where Garrosh and some of the workhorses were in my opinion maybe its followed up in the campaign /shrug

Revendreth wasn't bad I actually like what it focused on. But it definitely could've used more familiar faces. Like I said I think Shadowlands is going to get chunkier and better as it goes on. We'll probably see Garrosh after 9.0.
