Didn't get to really explore the House of the Rituals. Looks like somewhere ripped out from Northrend but in a good way. Definitely looks like there is some form of ice or snow in the area too so that gives more reason as to why The Lich King had icey powers.pic.twitter.com/ZBbYg9LUth

The themes of Northrend IMO is basically a mash or fusion of Maldraxxus and The Maw. Thats how I see it.......metaphorically speaking. Still prefer the classic Undead Scourge..but I'm biased.

I think originally it’s a mix of the Maw and Maldraxxus but perhaps if the Jailor can affect the Lich, then maybe Bolver being saved by flame did something to the Maw in return because it feels very much like a “fire and ice” theme going on.
