I was just talking about this with a friend. I feel like BfA failed because it promised to be about faction pride but... Horde: No pride, repeatedly shamed. Alliance: No pride, incited to hate the Horde. And now a lot of people seem to think that that's all it is.
I definitely think that the majority of BfA had its moments of shame (excluding working with the Zandalari). But when you got to work with Saurfang (rescuing Baine, doing the rebellion) you felt pride again. At least that's how I felt.

They revealed the twist villain at the opening, but then insisted she wasn't the twist villain and forced you to do stuff with your only motive being "because she said so", only to "surprise" everyone with revealing she was the twist villain. I felt annoyance, not pride.
