Besides the Horde against various world ending threats several times. They're defenders of azeroth just as much as the Alliance, regardless of the aggressions between the two.
Obviously, in some of those cases, the Horde "started" those world-ending threats (in a way) but they also helped clean it up. It's very easy to ignore that. The Horde quite literally had to kill their own friends and families for the sake of peace.

I don't even consider the current Horde responsible for the actions of the first Horde. Most of the individuals who participated are dead or old, replaced by different individuals who never partook in the war, like Trolls, Tauren, or newer generations of Orc.
