Feels like the opposite to me if that happened, that they are making KJ look even stupider by just stealing someone else's idea. I much more preferred him to have come up with it all. But nope gotta retcon everything to be done by the [current bad] to make them seem important.
I highkey really want it to be the case that the Jailer had a whole plan with the Helm of Domination and Frostmourne and Kil'jaeden came in and yoinked it. You'd prefer that Kil'jaeden is made into a fool by just accepting these items from the Jailer? Or you mean they should stuck to the old lore. I'm indifferent about the old lore because this at least gave a reason as to why they didn't have multiple LKs running around.
