One thing I noticed is people are mistaking me asking for Alliance and Horde in the storyline as ONLY the faction conflict. While I personally am not against seeing it again (in like 1-2 expansions if done right). The Alliance & Horde do not always need to be portrayed as enemies in the story. In fact there was a time not-so-long-ago where the two worked together frequently. But because of Garrosh and Sylvanas those waters got muddied and with them gone it can start to happen again.
I don’t think we need the horde or alliance at all this expansion. We’re not on Azeroth and the majority of both factions aren’t with us. I think this should just be a nice break from any involvement in the factions, conflict or not.
I disagree because the entire storyline's plot starts out with the faction leaders of the Alliance & Horde getting yoinked and us going off to save them. If anything it makes sense for the factions to get involved later in the expansion. We already have NPCs appearing in Oribos.
I don't think the factions need to be in the shadowlands, but i surely hope that we will have some story on Azeroth before the next expansion. The Scourge is free, there is so much things to tell.
I agree with you but it does give room to show off what Shadowlands is all about. All were unique experiences(Zones) but still having the A/H npcs around would helped but I think we got some goood stuff.
I think it's definitely a good call to have the denizens of the Shadowlands be focused on in the first couple of patches. I'm mostly wanting them to get involved later on in the expansion. AGAIN doesn't need to be them showing up just to war in the Shadowlands. But rather help.
