One thing I think a lot of ~20s anime fans seem to (in general, not true of everyone) take for granted is that current shonen and anime in general have pretty much just stopped doing filler content. That's one thing I really love about the currentish crop of anime.
Thank god for practically no filler. One of my favorite series Naruto just had way too much of it which made me take years of breaks just to watch the main stuff again.

I'm so glad that current shonen have FINALLY figured out that just having an overall good, albeit occasionally shorter, storyline is a million times better than just drawing out every single arc into 100 episodes.
