I know other shonen like My Hero Academia or Fire Force or such have come about but I have to say, as someone who used to binge Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Yu Yu Hakusho, and .hack//sign... Demon Slayer has been my favorite anime I've had the pleasure of watching in a LONG while.
I've gotta finish that one. Was watching it with friends but they either didn't finish it or watched it without me. I'm over here rewatching Code Geass for like the 5th time.
I'm a bit older than you so I'm comfortable saying I've seen a lot of anime in my time and I still think Demon Slayer is one of the best out of everything I've watched, which is a lot. I'd recommend it every single time.
