I fear I'll get roasted by my WoW lore nerd friends, but I think the Jailer is the least compelling WoW villain in a LOOOONG time. He's actually... kinda lame? I would take an old god, deranged titan, or evil horde leader over this dude any day.
The Jailer is definitely one of the least interesting and compelling villains thus far. But that's not to say they can't do it either as the expansion progresses. I think he's also got a very dull or uninteresting design as compared to the other Rogue's Gallery in Warcraft.
