I don't like her either but there's was bound to be a chance for them to do this to her. I think too many like her or too many hate her and people tend to go overboard with either of those emotions. I'm willing to see how it plays out and if I don't like it - I don't like it.
I'm honestly still pretty firm in my dislike for her but it is mellowing out now that she can just be a villain. The issue with Sylvanas and Nathanos in BfA was they were your leaders and allies and you HAD to work with them. Working against them makes this easier to digest.
