SPOILERS! Watched the Sylvanas cinematic and honestly didn't dislike it. Didn't get the impression some of my friends got at all from it. There's definitely wiggle room for them to do exactly what people are afraid of but ultimately I don't think that is what they're going for.

SPOILERS some more: Basically what I think they're setting up here is Sylvanas is still very much a villain for the time being and is still working with the Jailer. Of course. BUT later down the line, Anduin will convince her she's wrong and MAYBE put her on a better path.

I think you just defined a worse ending than my worst ideas.

The worst ending is Sylvanas was right and Saurfang was wrong for doubting her leadership and her quest. Here at least she'd admits she was wrong and screwed up and has to fix things. Ideally, I would just want her to be a big bad who fails but that's unlikely.

If something like that was the worst ending. Until now. Now I know that the worst ending is for Sylvanas to be Evangelized by Anduin. It was bad enough when he did it to Varock.+

In other words, he explained to Varock what Honor is and now he is going to explain to Sylvanas that he is the shamed free man. Whats Next. Will he explain to Maiev what revenge is?

I don't see the Varok and Anduin conversation as the same thing personally. Plus Anduin wasn't explaining "honor" to Varok he was explaining why they couldn't give up on Peace.

Varrock went from being the liberator of the Horde to a traitor of the alliance after that cinematic for many. Just as I saw that he explained why he had faith in the Horde.
