SPOILERS! Watched the Sylvanas cinematic and honestly didn't dislike it. Didn't get the impression some of my friends got at all from it. There's definitely wiggle room for them to do exactly what people are afraid of but ultimately I don't think that is what they're going for.
SPOILERS some more: Basically what I think they're setting up here is Sylvanas is still very much a villain for the time being and is still working with the Jailer. Of course. BUT later down the line, Anduin will convince her she's wrong and MAYBE put her on a better path.
Continued Spoilers: As long as it isn't "Sylvanas was a good gal all along" I think I'll be fine with it. If it's "Sylvanas realizes her mistakes and does something good because someone else convinced her" I'm honestly down.
There's so many ways they can go about this and there is definitely the chance they'll screw it up. But currently, I don't feel that way *YET*.
I am reeeeeaaaaally interested in where Blizz is going with this now. She knows who the Jailer is. She's working with the reason she hated Arthas. This is deliberate and I want to know what's up.
There's a lot they can do and I think regardless of what they'll do it will upset at least half the player base. Really depends on how they go about this.

If you haven't already seen it watch a movie called The Bridge Over the River Kwai. It's a good movie in it's own right, but in terms of Sylvanas, watch Alec Guinness in the last 5 minutes. She could do worse.
The ending shall be. Arthas and Sylvanas become the King and Queen of Death after betraying the Jailer. I am only 98% joking.
I'm actually glad you liked it (been waiting for your thoughts since i watched lol). I think its a perfect direction for her character and was kind of worried what her fate would ultimately be lol
