Revendreth I think had the more memorable of characters. I really really grew to like the Drudges and the Rebel Vampires. Hell, I even ended up liking the villains of the zone and their level of snark. Denathrius is also a pretty fun villain.

I still remain firm that BfA's questing on Horde as a whole does feel better than Shadowlands' but I also do think that as the expansion progresses I am going to really like it. Definitely still excited to see where the stories go next.

Ooof. That's a real spicy take lol I've only done Bastion and feel like its a thousand times better than any of the 6 zones from BfA

Shadowlands' zones/leveling lacks one major thing about and that is Character. I really didn't connect with any of the characters compared to BfA's which had Talanji, Bwonsamdi, and Rastakhan as a few examples. I'm honestly struggling to remember certain characters' names. --

I really really did not enjoy Bastion for it's story. The strongest thing Bastion had going for it, for me, was the music and the atmosphere. The story itself just made me feel uneasy and hard to connect with anyone from either side.

I find this take very strange, and you're certainly not the only one I've seen make it. Yes the premise of Bastion is supposed to make you feel uneasy but that and the zone's story being of poor quality are two entirely separate things.

I'm off put by a lot of storylines in WoW but that doesn't make them of poor quality by default. Pandaria and the Sha is incredibly upsetting when you think about it realistically but its a fantastic story.

Cataclysm through BfA is just the Horde repeatedly doing war crimes and causing mass genocide of civilians but that being upsetting doesn't make them bad? I donno I don't get how the two ideas are related.

Well the thing is with Zandalar's leveling is you're not working for Sylvanas (technically you are in recruiting the Zandalari but I digress). You're mainly just helping out the Zandalari with their problems and I liked that.

I think the weakest part of the BfA Horde leveling was G'huun as the main big bad by the end of it all. When it clearly should've just stuck to Prophet Zul. BfA too has its issues but at least I liked Nazmir, Zuldazar, and Volduun maybe not to a SUPER degree but still.

And I'm not saying Bastion or even Maldraxxus had poor storytelling or were bad zones. I still liked them just not as much as the ones I listed. The two zones actually made me worry for a moment that I didn't like SL at all. Which hasn't happened to me before.
