Well, they did survive though and died not because of him, which is a major part. They might not be fond of Arthas, but they do were Therenas. Afterall Therenas was also the King they survived the second war with. Its doubtful that especially those have a hatered like frist gen

And since the whole purpose of turning all the neighbor Regions forsaken was, that the first gens are going to deplet, there is a reasonable amount of second gen who don't have a hate against Menethils, since they are not the sole reason for their demise or fate.

Those regions are still (largely) part of Lordaeron. Would it be unreasonable for someone in Westfall who survived the first round of problems to be mistrustful of the Stormwind monarchy for how they handled the masons?

Well there we have a Problem we cannot solve, but also cannot put everything under a sole conclusion or point to say "Well being forsaken means to hate Menethils" To add misstrust also can be solved and get by, when times change, especially when it's overshadowed by nostalgia

I view it less hatred and more, they've long since moved past the need. The Forsaken arent even purely Lordaeronites, never were. But they made a concious decision to honor their last king and then move on.

Except, for some reason, since Calia was introduced, that aint the case anymore. The forsaken want their royals back. So much so that they never wanted the line forgotten, that was actually someone else! The Forsaken are better as their own masters

As I understood it, it was also plan of Sylvanas to especially build a new identity on the grounds of their old one. Which makes sense to unite a bunch of mixed backgrounds. However since Calia came, the Forsaken do have a reason to dig into their own pasts -

No I mean, the new lore concerns a retcon. This aint a new development for them, its going back and changing stuff to set the stage for Calia

I would push the whole "The Forsaken want their royals back!" in the situation of the Forsaken who wanted to reconnect with their families in Arathi. I think so long as they show there are Pro-Calia and Pro-Sylvanas Forsaken in the faction we've got an interesting story. --

W odpowiedzi do to @Skoll_Shorties@valarynn i jeszcze
However if it merely becomes "Everyone in the Forsaken wants Calia or a Menethil! Sylvanas is stinky!" it wouldn't work out. As somebody who's pretty much for Calia and against Sylvanas at this point I still think it's important to show the strifes that faction is going to face.

There's bound to be interesting stories to tell when you have a whole group of Forsaken who're extremely torn about their leadership throughout their whole lives. It's just a matter of Blizzard showing those progress in the game/story.
