I still think it doesn’t make much sense for them to buddy up with mortal races to that degree... … but I’ll do nothing resembling complaining if they do.
It makes no sense for them to do it and the only way I see it really working is if we leave the big hole in the sky open for some reason. We do know at least that Maldraxxus people can leave the Shadowlands though.

There is a little dialogue from shadowlands characters talking about how they'd like to visit our world. So who knows, maybe the veil getting smashed up is going to change the status quo heavily and travel becomes commonplace?

Reminds me of the dialogue Yrel had wishing to visit Azeroth and Stormwind, so I guess it will depend on how popular the storyline is.
