I hate to be a debbie downer but this Pre-Event (thus far) has been a pretty dull one. I'm hoping it'll pick up with Week 2 but as of right now I had more fun with BfA's. My Ranking of the Pre-Events I've done: - #1 Legion - #2 Cataclysm - #3 BfA - #4 MoP - #5 SL - #6 WoD
I think WoW's pre-events have been weak for a while now. The strongest it ever was with Legion which had so many fun things and strong lore moments. BfA's I liked purely more because it felt like a grand-scale war was happening in Darkshore being led by Faction Leaders.
I think what would've been impressive is if you were fighting Scourge assaults all over the planet like the Legion one with some big named characters. Imagine if you were fighting in the Barrens where Amnennar the Coldbringer returns & Rexxar leads an assault against him.
