Electoral College is so bloody stupid.

Why?
It ultimately makes it so the votes don't honestly count. It makes certain states seem more important than others. It makes no sense and I hate it.

That is why some people have given up on actually voting.

It's to prevent tyranny of the majority. Without the Electoral College, CA, TX, and NY would be the only places anyone would ever need to campaign. I mean, it makes sense. Coastal states have no idea what places like the Midwest want or need.

But right now it's just the exact opposite. It's tyranny of the minority, here my vote in PA is worth 50x that of people in solid states. Also it's not like the president decides what those places need, that's what Congress is for.
