Ohkay... listen, listen, hear me out They may be offing my man, Nathanos, and I do largely agree that Tyrande should be the one to put him down BUT - let us off Malfurion. Please. Please let us rip the little shithawk apart. Thrall bless Azeroth, I can't stand him

I honestly have more issues with Tyrande than Malfurion. But both aren't exactly on my "Up There" list in general.

Tyrande's -ohkay- I genuinely do like the Night Elves! They just wrote Malf to be so... grating and pompous

Illidan and Maiev is where the dream team is at. If there's anything I would like is just for those two bickering lovable nerds to lead the Night Elves instead.

Unfortunately the two of them would be terrible leaders. Illidan's idea of leading is basically just blow everything up until it works in his favor, and Maiev is way too obsessive and vindictive. Malfurion and Tyrande work better as actual leaders of a country.

I'd have to disagree. Maiev and Illidan both work well as leaders in their own right for their Wardens and their Illidari. This is shown countless times throughout Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft. We don't see that really with Malfurion. We do with Tyrande at least.
