She looks cute. I'm sure you'll get used to in time.
I'm sure I will too as well. Just didn't like the "cat calling" as it were when I had a female character back in the day. Some people don't even care if you tell them you're a dude or they think you're lying. Either way, I hope this doesn't get uncomfortable again.
One of my mains is a female Monk and I understand what you mean. You get used to it, because the mindset of the character overshadows any awkwardness like that to me.
I'll be keeping Ban'orak as my main for sure. But she might become my Alliance main, depending on how things go.
Oh hell yes! Hopefully you can ease into her and feel comfortable! Im sure she'll be really fun
Moar Elves! Good good...
Strange. About 75% of my characters are female and I've never experienced this. Maybe its just RP servers have more people willing to act that way? But even from Classic through Cata, I played on Twisting Nether and never ran into that kind of stuff even once.
I get Skoll; I used to have that issue too. Mostly because I saw the characters as a sort of representation of myself. Later on, after I learned to separate the character I (role)play from my own person, I mixed and matched genders indiscriminately.
