Seriously hoping they don't do anything to Thrall...it would be so devastating for me

Yeah that's what I'm trying to hold onto. It just brings too much sadness, probably more then I should be feeling, if they did something like this. I wouldn't even cared if they reduced him to just a quest giver with the occasional importance after this.
Legion was also our break expansion from Thrall. They're seemingly putting a lot of focus on Thrall in Shadowlands which makes a ton of sense given how many he's lost over the years. I think I'm fine with Thrall being one of the many faces in the Council after SL.

Like still have him act and be important but also give the chance for others to shine too. Much as I love Thrall I'm not blind to why people don't like him sadly. If everyone gets the light shined on their favorites people would be less angry which is why the Council can work.

I just wish him to retire, see his kids grow up and then leave the house to find their own journeys. He deserves to die peacefully in his 50s with his loved ones still around and being on good terms with him. (Jaina included!)

Agree! We don't have that much orcs left for the Horde council, and especially young ones (one day, maybe, they will bring us back Reghar, and/or Ariok?...). I humbly think that all this attention means nothing but his "official" return as a leading character for Shadowlands.
