I remember one time on the forums a guy once tried to argue that the human fanbase suffered more than the Night Elf and Forsaken fanbases because they never got revenge on Deathwing for Stormwind being temporarily busted up.

N'zoth is a fine example on why that should not be the case. Much as we all like our characters they're not going to sit and chat around about what they just did. They're just gonna loot and hearth out unless you're in an RP guild. The point being: Cinematics tell that story.
"Hurr durr why does Thrall get the kill and not me?" I agree that Thrall was oversaturated in Cataclysm and I wish other characters got a chance to shine. That being said the story was on him and it was honestly more the Aspects and Thrall that killed DW.

With Garrosh that one was a very personal story specifically for Thrall. There was a line for who should've gotten that kill but Thrall getting the kill is the best option because he had created that monster inadvertently. And for Thrall to kill Garrosh left him with sorrow.pic.twitter.com/DkCs89FEFs

im HUGE on this idea! it creates imo really weird, awkward gaps in the lore when its like "oh, X was killed by a group of adventurers" it feels anticlimactic and doesnt really... add anything to any other characters in the story as a result! but yes love this take thank u
