Someone like that generally gets fed to the dogs (or pigs.) Then they kill the dogs and burn them. You can never be too careful.

I don't think they did that to Arthas. Especially given how devastated Jaina was over his loss and Varian and him were buds. Though the safest bet would be to just burn the body to prevent it from being raised again.

Well what if he’s body still lays in the tomb but his soul is still trapped in the Maw due to his past deeds. And that the Maw is using he’s soul as a “battery” like Garrosh.
