Whenever my characters bring up they have a kid or wife the person I am having a conversation with immediately leaves. Sometimes I'm sure it is a coincidence but still... kinda sus.

I've got several characters who don't have couples. But the ones that do are usually the ones I end up playing the most. Ban'orak is taken and is probably my most popular chararacter I created. Unfortunately with that comes the stigma of, "Ohh I like your character a lot."
I don't really blame people for liking or even loving Ban'orak so long as they know the man is taken and is just up for friendship or enemies or whatever. Just Ban isn't looking for romance.

Exactly! I don't think people should go into rp looking for well a relationship. I've seen it hurt enough friends to begin with and honestly I'm much happier finding friends or enemies for my characters lol. Ban is wonderful and I enjoy seeing him. People should (1/2)

understand that it's okay to like a character or ever for a character to like another character and that not be the end of the interactions. I haven't gotten to rp with you a lot but I have enjoyed the few interactions. So there's that! (2/2)
