Well normally yes but it’s not a rarity that leaders like them walk around alone...especially anduin...he did it in pandaria, he did it in legion after varin died and he did it when he freed saurfang I mean who would expect a attack of dark angels with such powers?
If we go by Taliesin's theory it seemed like it might've been the day of Varian's death (and also Sylvanas' coronation as Warchief) could mean he asked to be alone so they had Genn tag along. Nobody was aware that Sylvanas had agents like these so it makes sense.
