Did the romance between Jarod and Shandris in Wolfheart seem weird to anyone else? Like, his wife wanted to die in Darnassus cause Shandris was there and she knew he had the hots for her, and she was just cool with that? Personally I'd throw it out with Maiev's betrayal.

The most I saw of it being mentioned in game was Maiev saying "Even after I~" to Jarod before getting cut off. It's almost like the lore itself wants nobody to ever speak of it again.
We also got that one line in Darkshore where Maiev was confused why Tyrande was cool with her. And Tyrande basically said there is no time for that right now.

That could also be contributed to the shaky relationship they had in Warcraft III.

There's also Jarod mentioning, very briefly, that some external force must have corrupted Maiev to make her act that way and that she's okay now in Legion. There's no explanation as to what that could have been or how it happened, but I guess its something.
