You'd think that Sylvanas viewing Talanji as having betrayed her she would have been a target & have her involved, especially w/ Bwonsamdi in Ardenweald. Would be nice to see one of the few good additions from BfA have a role beyond it but nope we need more Thrall lol #Warcraft

They probably chose Thrall because has had several connections with dead characters. At least this reasoning is a decent one. I do agree though that they should've included Talanji in the mix. Hopefully, she'll show up later on.

So have so many other characters who are actually part of the current storyline and not constantly dragged back into the story the second before an arc ends for nostalgia. Vol'jin and Bwonsamdi, who I assume you also mean, have literally nothing to do with anything about him.

Vol'jin was Thrall's close friend and considered brother. Garrosh was the monster he accidentally created. Cairne was also Thrall's brother. Then you have Draka and Durotan his parents. Orgrim his Mentor. The list goes on. Guy has a lot of baggage of dead characters.

Like I get you don't like the guy and are clearly tired of him. But he's not really had a big role in the story since WoD and even that one was cut extremely short with just ending Garrosh. Legion he lost the elements and left. BfA he returned but Saurfang was the star.

Thrall has and always will be a vocal character in the story because he's been that way since Warcraft 3. The only way they're going to end that is if they kill him. As retirement is no longer really an option as that was his whole arc with Varok.

And given that the Orcs just lost their new leader very very recently I have my doubts they're gonna kill Thrall anytime soon. I dunno man I really enjoy having Thrall back and having him around. Clearly, that's not for you.

Because he's boring and sad and just whines every time he shows up. There are so many other interesting characters, even Orcs, they could explore instead of dragging his rotted corpse of a character out to beat the nostalgia drum of Warcraft 3. Again.
