Still don't get why they deleted this scene!
Time is likely the reason. The film was originally supposed to be so much longer but it was cut down. Honestly, I hope they make another film and make it as long as they need it to be.

I understand that the time was the reason, here. To me few scenes in the movie were forgettable and would have been cut, instead of this one. A film on Warcraft remains a challenge, due to the huge lore behind. Maybe the next scenario would be built more like "Enemy Mine"?...

Hmm, sequel is probably not the word. :) All the stuff from Warcraft: the movie has been sold. If there was a 2nd movie in preparation, it would probably not be a sequel, but the story may take place later in the WoW storyline, for sure. Thus, wait and see... ;)
