The thing that bugs me the most about WoW is that no one questioned the Alliance choosing / making a grieving 18 y/o their high king shortly after his father passed away. Why did no one question that?
I mean for a while we had Varian Wrynn as the leader of the Alliance. Turalyon was MIA for a very long time until Legion. Lothar was an old man with grey hair. Realistically the only "blonde haired, white man" in WoW that is as prominent is Anduin and he's a good kid.

Blonde hair and swords are common, but not always the case. But they've all been white guys in armor. Anduin even put on armor to fit the pattern despite being a "priest". And, realistically speaking, why wasn't Magni leading at one point? The Dwarf nation was/is a powerhouse.

Magni in Classic to WotLK was: - Mourning his brother's "death". - His daughter was with the enemy romantically. Then that was followed by being turned into a Crystal VIA the ritual in Ironforge until Legion.
