The only *real* issue I had with BfA was how long it took for the Horde to act. But I understood it from some points of view as to why they didn't do that. At the very least they did have them act it just took them a while to do it. It'd be different if they did nothing.
The Blood War as it is called was never about a personal vendetta against the Night Elves. Although for some it was, of course. But for Sylvanas it was just about ending hope for the Night Elves who were the only real other contenders on Kalimdor. She of course failed.

What I'm saying is that relegating the Night Elves to being non-characters in the story involving the destruction of what many night elf players associate with their fondest memories of the game is bad and wrong. The Forsaken leader got to be a major figure in the destro of UC.

The Night Elves having no actual part in the plot other than to be the ones that resisted Sylvanas instead of having some sort of personal motivation is a serious kick in the teeth given the stakes present, especially since they lost. There's so much wrong with Teldrassil as is.
