No. Because he lost his free will the moment he picked up Frostmourne. The prior things he did were wrong but they were all for his people of some sort at least. The Maw is definitely for people like Gul'dan who are selfish and power-hungry but not Arthas.

i first thought the same but the ''mindcontrol'' apparently doesnt work for the Arbiter. Morgraine should also be in Bastion in my eyes but he is in Maldraxxus mostly bc of his corrupted form. Also Arthas: - Killed dozens of Stratholme villages - Betrayed mercenaries - Selfish

He's not in Maldraxxus because of corruption, but rather his attachment to his memories and his warrior-like mindset. He admits that Maldraxxus is a better fit for him despite the aesthetics. He wouldn't give up the memories of Darion for anything.

Manipulated or not he still shares the blame for the damage he did by his hands, I get it that Arthas wasn't fully him self but that doesn't stop that he played a big part. Ppl say he deserved revendreth but based of all of what happened both seem to fit for him.

I'd say everyone deserves Revendreth. It's the one final chance at inner atonement. That is a popular theory, and why Devos was wrong when she had Uther throw him into the Maw without judgment from the Arbiter.

You could also argue that he wanted revenge, which is „forbidden“ for a paladin. Uther does the same here, overthrowing his own statement since he scolded Arthas for wanting revenge afaik.

Agree. Arthas was young and lost his way. However, I think that repentance is not enough, if he really wants to redeem himself for everything he did, he should find a way to fix it or make up for it, I think
