It showed a cool world. Bonus points for Orcs not being typical pure evil(I swear some Orc fans though I've encountered no not you seem to forget this).

It was so refreshing to have Orcs who weren't pure evil. I love LOTR but goodness the Orcs are irredeemable in that. That's what I love about Warcraft they not only made the Orcs not pure evil but they feel alive or like actual beings. Sometimes Orcs are more human than humans.
