How does that explain Nerzul, and the eventual Lich King? His soul went to the nether and was tortured by Kil'Jaden until he threw him in the helm and dumped him back on azeroth.
His body and soul went to the Twisting Nether. Kil'jaeden and the Legion themselves in the past have harbored or captured souls. What K'J basically did was keep Ner'zhul from going anywhere and tortured his soul into the next Lich King along with the Dreadlords.

Correct. As part of the deal Ner'zul was tricked into...(at first anyway) was giving up his soul for power to change the fake visions he saw. What I'm saying is those who got the FEL made deals which forfeits their souls to the beings of the legion and thus the nether.

I think Ner'zhul didn't really embrace the fel in the way y ou see a lot off Eredar did and such. That said.... Ner'zhul is absent and well the helm is kinda gone.
